Natural Gas CompaniesUnder the Price Pressure

Natural gas names are coming under pressure following a U.S. Department of Energy report that showed a smaller-than-expected drop of 124 billion cubic feet of gas last week. Natural gas futures for delivery in February are down 17 cents at $5.53. Apache (APA) is down 39 cents, or 0.4%, at $103.83, XTO Energy (XTO) is off 25 cents, half a percent, at $46.75, Chesapeake (CHK) is down 37 cents, or 1.5%, at $25.99.
